I think it is so awesome , how the dc writers wrote in a gay guy . I mean they wrote in a gay guy , everyone would be like EEEEEEEEWWWWWWW, thats what I thought , because I remember watching that one episode along time ago with Doug and Jack on the beach , this was before I was into DC, and they kissed, I thought that that was disgusting. But now that I am aware of what kind of person JACk really is, I love him . ANd I love how the writers made jack gay and different yet make it so you can still love him, I mean if they would have made Jack a gay who went around kissing every guy on the town, gross, but that is not Jack , he is sencere (if that is how you spell that) and hot, and funny , and loving and a great friend. SO , tell me, how do you guys feel about his being gay?

I think that it is great to have a character on a television show that actually represents people in real life. Gay people, especially gay students are never really shown on television, and when they are the entire plot centers around the fact that they are "gay". Jack had an identity and was a person. What a great thing to do.

I agree with you both, it was wonderful that they wrote in a gay guy for the show without going over the top with his character, he didn't flaunt the fact that he was gay. I've never seen the show entirely from the beginning so I'm looking forward to seeing how his character develops into the kind, sweet, loving caring, giving, gentle, handsome, gorgeous... sorry...well, there was a lot more to Jack than his being gay.
