| If they'd started dating and told Pacey from the beginning? Pacey would have been fine. If Pacey had walked out on his back porch and seen them arguging about the future of their relationship? He would have probably been a little more upset.
I doubt he would have reacted as strongly as Dawson for a few reasons:
It's not Pacey's nature. I like Dawson as much as the next guy, but Dawson had a flare for drama. And that's fine. It was him. Pacey was far more soft-spoken in those ways. He reacted strongly to certain things, but he kept his composure a lot better (okay, so spitting in the teacher's face was intense, but everything surrounding that, the speeches he made, all show how composed he could be...and, I'm not basing this off the way he acted to Joey at prom either because this happened before that).
Pacey/Andie's relationship was not the same Dawson/Joey's. I believe that romantically, it was stronger and it ended in a horrible way, but it didn't have the complexity of Dawson/Joey. There weren't the constant ups and downs, just a few big ones. |
