| Going back to original topic here for a sec, if you were in her shoes, how would you react? You just find out that the person youwanted for so long are with and finally slept with broken up with someone after the two of you had sex and did it on the way for coffee in the morning like it wasn't a big deal.
I admit I didn't like the scene and I was mad as hell and hope that they could have worked it out but then again, what would you havedone if you were joey? |

| Very close to if not the exact same thing....minus the sleeping with dawson part :lol: But for the sake of arguement...I don't think she overreacted at all. Dawson knew how joey felt about sex for one thing, and he knew or SHOULD have known that he was breaking an unspoken rule by sleeping with joey while he was involved in ANY way with someone else. I don't know if he had told me afterward differently if it would have made a difference, because the point would be he should have ahead of time. If my relationship with him in the past would have been like D/J's....it probably wouldn't have mattered....this all would have been my sing that it's not meant to be. |

| joey also met someone over the summer, so i mean she cant be mad at him for that? i just strongly believe that she found a way out and took it?? she got scared. |

| But Joey wasn't involved with that someone she met over the summer at the time she slept with Dawson, so she was free and clear to start a relationship with Dawson. Dawson could not say the same. |

She was too scared to enjoy her love of Dawson.
However, while I'm sure Dawson was tired of fighting for a relationship with Joey I was disappointed with his effort; there he was on the cusp of getting Joey back and he let her slip away. I know he had to get on a plane and fly across the country, but I would have done something, anything to get Joey to open back up to her feelings. |
