It was sort of small hometown feel to the production. By the time they hit college, it was sort of feeling like 90210 or the OC....not quite but almost. Joey Potter should not have owned that many clothes...it just felt wrong. Pacey in a leather coat???  4/7/2006 7:25 AM    jimidb 3569 posts Oh yeah............that always bothered me too. Even in season 4 Joey, the beautiful but poor girl from the wrong side of town dressed like she didn't have a lot of money...........even when The B and B started making some bucks...........but 5 and 6. You'd swear she was a rich girl. Now Pacey, his wardrobe was NICE sometimes but I can tell you a guy his age with a job and not a lot to spend it on sometimes blows it on clothes. The way things ended between them in season 6 was way worse than how things ended up between her and Pacey. Dawson and Joey were still fairly strained at that point. He was reaching and she was pulling away. We could argue that the same could be said for her and Pacey. But in the end Pacey got it...he knew she was leaving...and he knew how she felt about him. I don't think Dawson had a clue.
