Hey, my cool face with sunglasses is on here just like your goofy looking turtle butt is..............hey, which is appropriate now that i think of it. You are so damned slow at getting anything done. The turtle is just PERFECT.

Sorry I didn't respond to this sooner.. I would hate to lose my title as a P/Jer through and through.. If they hadn't gone to Florida, they would not have felt comfortable letting there guard down.. By leaving Capeside it became all about their relationship and not worring about others reactions. True, they were going to have to deal with others eventually which we saw the results of later. But at least the got started on the right foot. All the other time you mentioned were indeed a result of pressures and issues brought on by outside forces. It was all about the baggage that their lives in Capside was filled with. Lots of baggage. What if they never came back to Capeside?

I think that in season 3, they needed to go off together to figure things out on their own without all the guilt and criticism following them around. Plus, I mean 3 months out on the water, that's the recipe for a perfect summer. In season 4, I would have loved for Joey to ask Pacey to stay after graduation but it was really important to Pacey as a person to get his act together and learn how to love himself first. He had a lot of issues to deal with and it was key that he let Joey go even though it was truly heartbreaking. In season 5, I think that Joey was really trying to convince herself that she and Pacey were done with so she wanted him to go off and be with Audrey. She thought Audrey was making him happy, and I believe that is all that Joey wanted for him. In season 6, it seems that Pacey knew that Joey felt it too but that she just wasn't sure if she felt really ready to put herself in such a vulnerable situation like that again. Admitting that she loved him still might have caused the past problems to occur all over again and I don't think she was prepared to deal with that. Either way, I think it all happened the way it was supposed to. After all you know the saying, if you love something let it go, if it comes back, that's how you know.[/url]
