you guys are probably getting bored of me lol :lol:
but what can i say... i have a lot of free time at the moment...
(Neil is sitting on his bed writing on his laptop. He is logged on to DCIZ, and is writing a private message to ‘OffTheHook’)

(Alex opens his bedroom door and Neil closes the laptop)
Alex: hey
Neil: Hi.
Alex: Bad day?
Neil: Actually, I’m doing pretty good. Did you know that our hotel serves nine different kinds of coke?
Alex: (looks confused) Uh, whatever… are you sure you’re OK?
Neil: (forces a laugh) I’m a big boy Alex, I think I can handle a break-up.
Alex: Break-up?
Neil: Long story. (Alex looks hurt) Sorry, did you want something?
(mutters) or did you come to rub some salt into the wounds?
Alex: What? (her eyes flash angrily) ACTUALLY, I wanted to borrow your laptop.
Neil: Go ahead. Not like I have anyone to talk to.
(Alex grabs the laptop and walks out)
(Dawn and Alex are drinking milkshakes by the pool)
Dawn: Soooo….
Alex: (looking up) what?
Dawn: You’re all smiley.
Alex: Oh. (blushes)
Dawn: What did my brother say to you?
Alex: Neil? (looks angry) if I’m happy, it’s no thanks to him. I got another email today!
Dawn: (teasing) Oooh, from Jaaaamie?
Alex: No, from that teenager on DCIZ!
Dawn: What teenager?
Alex: You remember Dee, I told you about him months ago! He’s just recently reactivated his account. (sighs)
Dawn: Uh, yeah, whatever. Al, aren’t you forgetting that you have a boyfriend?
Alex: (laughs) Dee, Jamie and I haven’t met yet. Besides, the other boy’s just a friend. He’s infuriating one minute, then really sweet the next. He’s fun to talk to!
Dawn: (gives her a knowing look) Just don’t get too caught up, OK? |

| Chapter 6 :D
( Dawn and her mum are packing)
Dawn: I can’t believe we’re actually going to Wilmington!
Lydia: (rolls eyes) don’t get too excited sweetie. I doubt you’ll be seeing Kerry Smith, or whatever his name is.
Dawn: Its KERR, mum. And I don’t care about not seeing him. It’s enough knowing that he walked those same enchanted streets…
Lydia: (throws some clothes at her) You sound just like your brother
Dawn: (drops the clothes) WHAT?
(Alex is on her laptop, emailing Jamie. She starts to type a message to him. ::: VOICE OVER- Alex reading the message::: )
Dear Jamie
I’ve been gone five days, but it feels like I’ve been away much longer. It’s like, now I’m gone I can finally take a step back and look at my life. You know, put things in perspective. I’m sorry if this comes as a bit of a shock, but I don’t think we should meet up. It’s not you…it’s me. Sorry to drag out that old cliché but it’s the truth. I love somebody else. You deserve somebody that can love you with all of their heart, no matter how completely cheesy that sounds. Basically it all comes down to this- I’m really sorry.
(Neil shouts up the stairs for her to get a move on. She presses send)
Alex: (whispers) Bye Jamie. |

| I know this fic hasnt had a lot of interest, but i got bored so thought i'd update this before starting the new chapter of my Pacey fic... sorry :)

Scene- Jamie’s house, a party is in full swing. Jamie and his mates are drinking a little too much…
Jamie: A feckin email! She was using all these fancy words, she sounded just like you Tone!
Tony: Get lost Jame. Do you know how awkward this is going to make it for me and Dawn?
Greg: (grabs a bag of chips) Nothing’s awkward unless you want it to be. She understands your weird moods…
Ryan: *coughs* more than we do…
Greg: (ignoring him) and besides, she broke up with you.
Jamie: Yeah but I could have done something!
Ryan: Like what? A grand romantic gesture? Go get her, bring her back in your arms for a romantic dinner followed by maybe a west end show?
Greg: You are so gay sometimes.
Ryan: (gives him a look)
Greg: I have no problem with that. (looks embarrassed). So, uh, I’m gonna eat my chips now.
Jamie: (has been thinking) A grand romantic gesture… hmmm…
Tony: For God’s sake, you’ve never even met the girl! You probably don’t know what she really looks like. She’s probably ugly, although I don’t see why she should be if she’s Dawn’s mate.
Jamie: (stands up and walks towards Tony) What? What you trying to say? (slurring by now from the drink) Shut up, you hear me? I’m tired of your whining. I got a rich daddy and a credit card. I’m going to Wilhelmina, or wherever the hell my girl is. Got it?!?! (walks out and slams the door)]
Tony: He’s gonna get hurt.
(guys all shrug)
Scene- the plane again. Dawn, Alex and Neil are sitting together. Dawn is watching the move while Alex sleeps on Neil’s shoulder.
Dawn: Is she asleep?
Neil: *rolls eyes* No, she’s doing brain surgery. Yeah she’s sleeping.
Dawn: Okay. Want me to wake her and get her to sleep on me?
Neil: (blushes) it’s a long flight. Let her sleep.
(Awkward silence)
Dawn: Are you ever going to tell her?
Neil: What? (puts his headphones on) I can’t hear you Dee…
Dawn: (laughs) That’s what I thought.
(a few hours later)
(Alex and Dawn are asleep in the car, Neil has his Blackberry out and is logged on to DCIZ.)
Voice Over Neil:

I am so glad I still have you. My life right now is…well complete crap to put it in that way. I try to be charming, I try to be funny, and I end up with no girlfriend, and now no friends either. My own family are annoyed with me!
Anyway, guess where I’m headed to? On second thought don’t guess, I’ll tell you. Wilmington! And I’m gonna take so many pictures…you are gonna love me! Well… more ;) wink wink… lol I missed you!

(Scene- Wilmington. Alex, Neil, Dawn and Max are by the pier.)
Alex: (dreamily) I can’t believe we’re here.
Dawn: Kerr Smith might have put his ACTUAL backside on that bench!
Max: Kerr? You aint seen nothing yet baby…
(Neil laughs)
Dawn: (rolls eyes) ew, baby perv.
Neil: We’ve been here all weekend. Hasn’t it got even a little less amazing yet?
Dawn: (teasing) You love it really Neil… (Neil gives her a look)
Alex: Stop it you guys. Just take in the atmosphere! I love it here…
Neil: And the boys here love you. Friend of yours? (points to a waiting cab)
(Jamie steps out and runs over. He grabs Alex and kisses her. She pulls away)
Alex: No!
Neil: Get away from her! (punches Jamie. He falls to the grouns with his nose bleeding)
Alex: (looks shocked) Jamie! You’re bleeding!
Neil: (backs away) Jamie? Oh God. (backs off. Dawn tries to stop him but is too late, he runs as far away as he can)
Alex: (Sitting with her arms around Jamie) (to nobody in particular) I’m so sorry if I hurt you…
Dawn: It was Neil that punched him Lex.
Alex: (looks startled) Did someone say something?
(Jamie looks puzzled.)
Dawn: ( looks in the direction Neil ran in) Oh boy. |
