| [ This is my frist shot at fanfic so i hope you enjoy it takes place right after the end of the finale before it cuts to joey and pacey watching the ending to the creek. And i think both P/jers and D/jer alike will enjoy]
The Last Kiss. Chapter 1
Scene: Dawson And Joey where returning there car's to the retail place before heading into the Airport
Joey: So dawson im i going to have to wait another five years to see you again?
Dawson: Not if i can help it jo.
Joey:I wish we had more time to catch up and.(Pause) vist with everyone somemore.
Dawson: You mean pacey......( looks down)
Joey:You know what mean, and yes pacey
Dawson:So are you two back together or somthing
Joey:I dont know dawson, we are...( Takes in a few breaths of air) talking if over i really wont know until next weekend when he comes to New York.
Dawson: ahh (nods)
Joey: Well dont sound so happy for me dawson.
Dawson: I am jo.. im sorry you know i got alot on my mind i didn't mean it that way.
[ A few miniuties pass as they walk into the main part of the airport before heading off to there boarding area's and joey breaks the silence ]
Joey: Dawson...?
Dawson: Yeah jo?
Joey: It would really mean alot to me if you would call sometime's or aleast email me
Dawson: You know i will.. but it will take me a few days to get settled in, and we still have alot to do for the last espiode.
Joey: I understand and i know hearing about me and pace isn't really what you wanna hear.
Dawson: It's fine jo..( looks over her right shoulder trying not to look her in the eyes)
Joey: Well dawson i guess this is it, my planes about to board in about twenty min's or so ( As she looks at her watch)
Dawson: Same here.....Jo
Joey: Yeah?
Dawson: Im ok about you and pace...and im really happy for you too..but
[ Before dawson could finish speaking joey leaned over and gave him a huge hug]
Joey: I love you dawson.
Dawson: I love you to joey
[ We see joey gathering her things and heading off to the right and dawson still standing there ]
Dawson: But im not over you....( he looks down and gathers his bags and looks up to see joey giveing her ticket to the lady at the counter}
Fade out.

Scene: Pacey and doug are siting at a table at the ice house
Doug: So little brother i take it you and miss potter are together again?
Pacey: You know what doug..im still not processing it yet. (laughs)
Doug: Did you get a chance to tell her and dawson goodbye before they left for the airport this monring?
Pacey:( grins) I got to say goodbye to joey alot last night. we ate dinner out at the ruins under the moonlight etc etc
Doug: What about dawson?
Pacey: Yeah he stoped by my aparment this morning before he left to meet joey. I think me and him are on good terms for once in a really long time
Doug: Thats good, Well little brother i got to stop by the store before jack gets off. im cooking for him and grams tonight.
Pacey: Why not bring them for dinner here. my treat
Doug:( Laughs) Why so you can slack and have you're underlings do all the work
Pacey: ha ha you're so funny dougie..No really it would be nice to hang out with all of you tonight.
Doug: ill talk to jack and get back to you.
Fade out
Scene: That night pacey is siting in his office talking to joey on the phone
Pacey: So how was you're flight hun.?
Joey: Long boreing, and the guy beside me snured the whole time.
Pacey: Well darlin you have a way with putting men to sleep..(laughs)
Joey: Not funny pacey..( softly giggles to herself) Pace..
Pacey: yeah yo?
Joey: Im worried about dawson..he didn't seem himself this morning at the airport
Pacey:You know dawson jo, he probley has a thousand things going on in his head and on top of that with jen and his mother getting remarried
Joey: You're probley right...so what are you doing tonight?
Pacey: Gonna have dinner with Doug, jack grams and Amy.
Joey: Please tell me you're not cooking..its bad enough you're paying custumers have to eat it ( laughs)
Pacey: Ouch..jo that stung.. Nope im gonna take the night off and go over to there place.
Joey: Thats good.. i wish i could be there and wish you could come up here now..
Pacey: In due time my dear.. only five more days and ill be on the frist train out of capeside.
Joey: K. Well babe im beat and need to sleep, but need to finish afew things before hand.. i love you pace.
Pacey: Love you to jo. ill call tommrow ok
[ They both hang up and pacey grabs his jacket and heads out of his office}

| The Last Kiss Chapter 1 part 2
Scene: We see dawson slowly unlocking the door to his apartment when his ceil phone rings
Dawson: Yeah?
Assistant: How was you're flight dawson?
Dawson: Dont know..i slept the whole way still not fully awake
Assistant: Well ive got some good news and some bad news
Dawson: Bad news frist...( Wipeing his eyes with his free hand then shuts the door)
Assistant: Well you know the scirpt you sent us?
Dawson: Yeah...
Assistant: Well the writers Dont think it fits
Dawson: ( silent)
Assistant: Dawson?....Dawson?.....
Dawson: Ok ill take quick shower and ill be on my way..
Assistant: Dont you wanna hear the good news?
Dawson:Sure why not..
Assistant: The Ratings for last weeks espiode went out the roof.
{ by this time dawson had already feel asleep}
Assistant: Dawson? ohh my god..DAWSON!!!
Dawson: yeah sorry i didn't hear you.. i guess connetion is bad..
Assistant: ohh nevermind ill tell you when you get here.
Cut to Pacey talking to a man at the ice house
Man: So pacey you really did good for you'reself
Pacey: Thanks man..so how you been?
Man: Okey i guess did some traveling after gradutation. Then took a job that my father hooked me up with while going to college in bostan.
Pacey: You went to school in bostan how come we never bumped into one another?
Man: You where in bostan to?
Pacey: yeah me. joey jen.jack and even dawson.
Man: He did i thought dawson was going to UFC. UCLA which ever (laughs)
Pacey: Long story....So Drue have you been to jen's grave?
Drue: Yeah my mother called the other day and told me.. sorry i couldn't get here on time.
Pacey: Not a problem man..So you in capeside long?
Drue: Afew more days.. then heading up to New York
Pacey: no kiddin me to, leaving friday going to stay with joey for few days.
Drue:Cool maybe we can all go out and party...Well not so much party for the two of you (laughs)
Cut to Jack siting at his deck gradeing papers when doug walks in
Jack: Hey shieff
Doug: hello hunny..
Jack: ohh hunny huh?... few days ago it was jack ( smurks)
Doug:........( stands in silence just looking at jack) thats not funny
Jack: I know Doug im sorry.. So what you got planed for us tonight..any thing to do with whips and handcups?
Doug: Nope. remember we got amy tonight
Jack: Thats right.. i competly forgot..
Doug: whats wrong?
Jack: nothing its just still kinda hard knowing that jen isn't gonna be here to help us rise this little girl
Doug: No but grams is...and between the three of us im pretty sure she's gonna be ok..
Scene. Joey is at her office reading over what she has missed and thumping her pen on her deck, but she's having trouble consentrateing all she can think about is how great everything is now. pacey is coming to see her. everything just fells right but apart of her knew that the look on dawson face before she left had her worried, she knew pacey was just trying to make her feel better but, something deep down inside of her made her hurt. She didn't know if it was because jen or somthing that was borthing dawson, and she wanted him to call her..she then picked up her phone and started dailing a number..
Joey: Hey dawson its me joey..umm if you get this call me..we need to talk.. |

| The Last Kiss Chapter 1 part 3
Two days had passed and dawson was siting in his chair stairing out the window, with this trance like daze. his writing staff was trying to distory how he wanted the last espoide to end, and the message joey left on his phone had him confused, had she and pacey called it off. did she wanna try and work things out. did joey feel the same way he did. all things where runing through his mind as he stared out the window at the sky. He turned and picked up his phone and then quickly put it down again. shaking his head" what would i even say....i cant just say joey i love you...." " No do it pick that phone up and call her and let her know what you feel " " but then what if all she wants to talk about is how she loves pacey...god..i cant take it.." Dawson was siting there talking to himself when his assistant walked into the room.
Assistant: Dawson they need you in the writeing room
Dawson: Ok...why?
Assistant: There seems to be a problem at the shoot.
Shaking his head he places his phone in his pocket and follows her out the door.
Scene: Joey is at home siting on her bed reading over some papers when the phone rings she hopes its dawson and when she looks at the caller id she's kinda disapointed but at the same time very very happy because its pacey.she turns it on
Joey: Hello sweety..( says playfully)
Pacey: Hey jo. remember that guy i told you i ran into the other day?
Joey: Yeah but you never told me his name..
Pacey: Well guess what...
Joey: what? ( says questioning weither or not it was gonna be a good or bad thing)
Pacey: he's coming to new york on the same day as me and i thought we should all go out to eat
Joey: Pacey?.... who is he i dont wanna eat dinner with someone i dont know much less spend much needed time with you with another man there.
Pacey: Remember a Drue Valentine jo?
Joey: Pacey i sware to god you better be jokeing
Pacey: Sorry jo im not..
Joey:.....( sits in silence with this frustated look on her face..the only memorys of drue were not very nice)
Pacey: Jo? listion we dont have to he just said we should go out for a drink and maybe dinner i thought it would be a good idea
Joey: Pacey i can't believe you.. you know how bad i wanna spend what little time we will have alone..
Pacey: No problem jo..i understand
Joey: Sorry pace.. its just ive got alot of work to catch up on and alot on my mind i didn't mean to take it out on you..
Pacey: It's ok darlin.
We Cut to Dawson standing infront of the drawing board, the writers had already left for the night..dawson had faught hard and won.and in a way he was hopeing joey's call was her way of saying the's show's ending would be there's aswell.. later that night he sat in his office just playing her message over and over. " Dawson we need to talk...only a few words but they could mean alot of diffent things..he look'ed at the clock and realise if he called now joey might still be awake. he begain to dail the number. Joey had just finished the last of her paper work and was streaching and was ready to take a shower when her phone ring. she thought maybe pacey was calling again.so she picked up without looking at the caller id.
Joey: Hey babe
Dawson:( sits in silence this really cought him off guard....he didn't know what to say)
Joey: Ohh playing the silent game are we sweetie
Dawson: Jo?
Joey:( she couldn't tell..who it was..) listion before you say anything im sorry about before i didn't get to say what really ment..I love you so much you're all i can think about and every time i think of you my heart skips..and i wanna spend the rest of my life with you..and i cant wait to see you.. cant you come now.. i want you here now..
At this time dawson is just dumbfounded but this is what he had be wanting to hear so bad for so long.. he thought to himself maybe her and pacey got into a fight and she realised she wanted to be with him... he couldn't think stright..
Dawson: im leaving for the airport right now..and love.... feel the same way joey i allways have...
Before joey realised who it was it was to late dawson had already hung up. she fliped the phone over and when she saw the name and number she droped the phone..she knew then that what she had entened for pacey to hear dawson heard..and she begain to cry she quickly grabed the phone and called back but it was busy...meanwhile Dawson was on the phone with his assistant.
Dawson: Listion apirl..the scpirt's readyand everyone knows what to do..you guys dont need me here and i have to go new york tonight ive already got my ticket orderd ill be back before monday.
Apirl: Dawson what is going on?
Dawson: it's hard to explain.
Apirl: You better explain you're self
Dawson: ill tell you everything when i get back..but until then i gotta go
Apirl: Dont you hang up on me dawson.Leary..i sware to god you do and the next time you ask me to get you a coffee with cinnimon ill spit in it ( says angrey)
Dawson: (laughs) ok ok sorry but apirl i gotta do this..i may never get another chance.
Joey kept calling his number over and over but it was still busy she didn't know what to do...she knew if she told pacey it would just cause more trouble..but knowing that dawson was coming to new york thinking what she had said was for him. she didn't know what to do..she tryed again and this time she got a ring..but what she didn't realise was while she was thinking of pacey she dailed his number instead of dawson's pacey was deep asleep when the phone woke him up..
Pacey: Hello?
Joey: Dawson listion to me.... you have to understand you know i love you..but..
Pacey: Jo? What the hell...
Joey: Pacey?????
Joey through her arms up screaming at the top of her lungs... |

| Rest In Peices Chapter 2
It had all come together she knew now she had called pacey and her heart stop'ed
Pacey: Jo.... wha....t...(pacey's face was turning red he thought to himself.. god dammit he did it again)
Joey: Pacey please let me explain...
Pacey: Explain to me... how you call me at three in the morning saying you love dawson
Joey: Pacey's it's not what you think..
Pacey: What i think...this afternoon you riped my head off.. and then this..what the hell joey.
Joey begain crying very hard and begain haveing trouble breathing pacey on the other hand was livded..and very pissed off..
Joey: Pacey please....i was about to....
Pacey: Save it Jo.....
Pacey then hung up..and throw the phone at the wall breaking the phone into two halfs..joey fell to her knees she couldn't control herself she just went histercoil. pacey grabed some colthes and headed out the door, he got his ceil phone out of his truck and called jim his store manager..
Jim: What is it pacey...you know what time it is right ( says in a jokely way)
Pacey: jim you're gonna have to take over for the few days im leaveing tonight.
Jim: And just where are you going may i ask..
Pacey: NEW YORK!!
Jim: ok..ill do it boss.
By this time dawson was already in the air his plane had took fourty minitues ago he was nevrse's yet excited. he had been dreaming of this for some time..he wanted to call joey but knew that you couldn't have ceil phones on while in the air.. he wanted to tell her everything.. but decided it would be best to think of what he was going to say to her. a Few hours had passed and pacey was siting at the train station waiting on the next train which was still late. he knew it would be around noon by the time he got to new york.but he had to do this he had to find out what was going on face to face with joey. Meanwhile dawson's plane was only hours away from new york he would land around ten. Joey on the other hand was beside her self at this point. she called bessise because she couldn't get pacey to anwer either phone. nor dawson. she begain to explain what had happened how she got the two of them mixed up.All bessise could do was laugh.
Bessie: Listion joey calm down..get some rest and you will be able to fix it all tommrow
Joey: Bessie you dont understand dawson is most likely ten thouands miles in the sky by now heading this way
Bessie: So.. when he gets there tell him it was a mistake..
Joey: I can't dont you understand that would kill him bessie.
Bessie: Well if you dont it will kill pacey...come to think it didn;t this happen before.
Joey: yes but this is diffent
Bessie: Why because back then you only loved pacey....
Joey: huh?
Bessie: Face it jo. you're more worried about dawson then pacey..dont you see
Joey: ok you lost me about three miles back bessie
Bessise: Listion joey i know you picked pacey.. but why would you be so stressed out over this if you didn't still have feelings for dawson?
Joey: I dont.....i...i...
Bessise: See jo. its basic kindergarden snicingolgy as you used to call it.
Joey: You're wrong bessise...
Bessise: Face it jo.. you're still in love with both of them.. you just cant make you're self admitited it.

| Rest In Peices Chapter 2 part 2
The Sun had just came up in capeside and jack was walking up to the bar at the icehouse he looked around but didn't see pacey anywhere. he kinda shurged it off and walked over to jim. and waved before speaking.
Jack: Hey jim where's pace at?
Jim: Strangest thing jack, he woke me up this morning around three saying he was leaving for new york.
Jack: New york i thought he wasn't leaveing until tommrow?
Jim: No idea..
{ Just then Drue walked up to the two of them}
Drue: Well Well Jack mcphee, how you been?
{jack turn'ed with shock and begain to laugh alittle}
Jack: Drue Valentine when did satan let you out?
Drue: About a month ago( laughes) So what are you up to?
Jack: Looking for pacey he was makeing a order of sandwhiches for my class today
Drue: Ahh yeah i talked to him afew hours ago
Jack: you did?
Jim: you did?
Drue: Yeah he said joey and dawson where back together and he was going to new york to find out what the hell was going on
{ Jack stoud there with this dumbfounded look on his face}
Jim: Dawson? you mean that big hollywood guy?
Jack: No way.. i dont believe it drue are you up to you're old tricks?
Drue: Sorry jack can't pin the tail on this dunkey anymore....
Jack: i gotta call doug and tell him about this..
Jim: ill start on the order..
Dawson's plane had just landed in new york, and he was getting his one bag from claim, before heading out to meet his driver.when he seen the man holding the sigh with his name he noded
Dawson: hi im dawson learry
Driver: im Grehoun how was you're flight?
Dawson: ahh ok i guess im just glad to be here
{ Grehoun open'ed the door and went to the driver side}
Grehoun: So Mr.learry what brings you to new york?
Dawson: my soulmate... i think we are finnly going to be together..
Grehoun: Well dawson.. would you happen to know where this soulmate lives?
Dawson: Nope but i have her number..
Grehoun: k one secound and ill call it in.
{ Grehoun then got a address pop up on his screen}
Grehoun: Alright dawson ill have you there in a bit. So does she know you're coming?
Dawson: Well i told her i was but i dont think she knows im in the city now..
Meanwhile pacey was siting in his seat on the train going over everything in his head trying not to let his anger get the best of him," maybe she was right i should have listioned maybe i should have let her explain.." " no pace you know what they had and you know he still loves her... and she was worrided about him" pacey stop it the angels on his shoulders where battleing back and forth until pacey just broke them apart. his heart was raceing just when he thought everything was falling into place this happend. he didn't know weither to be mad at dawson or joey.. or maybe it was just a huge mistake. and his phone rang..
Pacey: Hey doug
Doug: Pacey jack told me whats going on..and just shut up and listion to me little brother
Pacey: O..K
Doug: Ok pace. you and i both know joey is head over hills in love with you and that dawson is her friend
Doug: And what ever sparks between they had are long gone. So when you get to New York keep you're head on
Pacey: I know i will.. i kinda sorta hung up on her and broke my house phone.
Doug: Pacey you didn't!
Pacey: afaid so doug..
Doug: Well then why dont you call her with you're ceil?
Pacey:believe me ive been trying since i got on the train.
Doug: ok ill call bessie and see what i can do
