Basic storyline:
Joey Witter is 30 years old, and happily married, except for the fact that Pacey was unable to make children, but they are well on the way of adopting an Asian newborn girl, when a terrible twist of fate leaves Joey afraid and alone.
Dawson is unhappily engaged to an actress from his second movie. She is totally selfish, and tells Dawson if he goes back to visit Capeside, she will leave him.
Jack, cruelly dumped by Doug, is living in Capeside with a woman! His sister, Andie and her husband Mark live with Jack, and help Jack raise a 5 year old Amy.
Audrey is releasing her third record and thinks back to her younger years with Joey, Dawson and others and realizes she misses them terribly. She gets in touch with Dawson who delivers her terrible news. They meet up and travel to Capeside together to reunite for one final visit. Everyone will be there, even Jen. |

| Scene 1: Joey and Pacey's home in Boston. Joey is sitting on the couch watching Dawsons latest DVD release. "A Summer of Lost Love" Pacey is in the bedroom.
Pacey: Hey Joe
Joey:What Pace?
Pacey: I'm going to the harbor, I am going to take True Love Forever out for a spin. Do you want to come?
(Joey bites her lip, walks over and wraps her arms around him, drawing him into a kiss.)
Joey:I would love to, more than anything, but I need to wait for the Social Worker to call back. If all goes well, our baby girl will be home with us next week.
Pacey:Allright, but you're going to miss all the excitement.
Joey:You have given me a lifetime of excitement, some boredom is long overdue.
(Kisses Pacey, he takes his hat and keys and walks out the door. Joey lays on the couch, falling asleep. She wakes up to a dark room. Rubbing her eyes sleepiliy she turns on a lamp and glances at her watch, opening her mouth. She then turns to look at the wall clock, which we see reads midnight. She picks up the phone.)
Dispatch officer: Boston PD
Joey: My husband hasn't come home.
Dispatch officer: We get this a lot. He's probably out and lost track of time.
Joey: No, you don't understand, he's been out on his boat for 14 hours.
Dispatch Officer: Call us back in 10 hours, we can't consider anyone missing until no one has seen or heard from them in 24 hours. I'll take your name, address, phone number and your husband's name, and I'll call you if I hear anything.
Joey:Josephine Witter, 121 Lilac Drive, 555-1289, Pacey Witter, and his boat is called True Love Forever.
Disptch Officer: Thank you, I'll let you know if we hear anything
(Joey hangs up the phone and paces the floor nervously. She sits on the couch with her head in her hands.She gets up and makes coffee. She hears knocking on the door. Relieved she gets up)
Joey:Pacey, forgot your keys again
(she opens the door, two policemen are there)
Officer1: Josephine Potter?
Joey: Yes
Officer2:Is your husband Pacey Witter?
(Joey nervously twists her necklace)
Joey:yes
Officer1: We heard you reported him missing. His boat True Love Forever was found washed ashore on Long Island.
Joey: And Pacey?
Officer2: The boat was empty. We have an APB put out for him, but all of his belongings were on board when the boat was found.
(Joey sits down on the floor)
Joey:What exactly does this mean.
Officer:There is a 50/50 chance your husband will be found.
(joey flashes through scenes of her and Pacey's relationship: sailing on True Love, being locked in K-mart, throwing spaghetti at eachother, their wedding)
Joey: I need to find him. |
