Thought I'd let you all know that I had my baby early at 29 weeks on 14th Oct at 6.05 PM weighing 2lb 13oz & we named her Emily Rose.
It was all a bit of a shock but she is fine although will be in hosp for about 5-6 weeks in special care.
Basically my waters broke on 12th Oct so I went to my hosp to be checked over , they transfered me to another hosp with a specialist baby unit in case I went into labour or need to be delivered as my local hosp didn't have the specialist facilities to deal with a baby at 29 weeks gestation as I was at the time. I was given atibiotics there & labour suppresants & kept in for monitoring but 2 days later I started contracting. They made the decision to give me a c section. I was in hosp for two weeks & then discharged, two days later Emily was transfered to my local hospitals baby unit as she was doing so well & she is contiuning to do well but will be in hosp for another 5-6 weeks.
So there you have it!!, I always was one to do things with dramatic effect!!!!. Hope you r all ok, heres a lil pic of Emily.........
