The parents probably threw a blind eye, because they wanted to be the cool parent.. Reality check time! And if they say they did, and there were consequences, besides the obvious one, they were not enforced. Rest assured, there are plenty of responsible parents.. But I'm sad to say there maybe just as many who aren't...  12/22/2008 10:22 AM    PaceKat 602 posts well parents aside..when I was 17 I had a fully functioning brain in my head where I could tell that tv was fictional and different than my life. I don't get how any 17 year old girl can be dumb enough to actually blame a show for their own poor choices..still gets me all worked up!
