| ok guys,
here's a chance for you all to post some of your favourite song lyrics... or even some that you just think we'd like, or seem to fit people here well.
Let me start... this is from 'Slideshow' by Travis (only cos its the song I'm listening to right this minute, and the lyrics remind me of some of my other fave songs....)

| That was great.
I have my students in Writing Lab do something very similar. I call it a "Patchwork Quilt of Poetry".
The assignment is to chose a theme, and then select ten lines from muscial lyrics that fit the theme. After the lines have been selected, they must arrange them in a manner that is clear and makes sense.
Liam, you could be one of my students and I would give you an A+! |

(I can even tie this back to DC (good job Jenbrit :D ) since they actually performed this song during the 'Spiderwebs' episode of Season 6):

| I'll have to get back to you on that. But this song I love is by Avril Lavigne ( i luv her ) S8ter boi. The lyrics are so cool like this boy is not perfect , so this girl dumps him and Avril ends up with him because she accepts him for who he is.
