I have never watched it ...but I have heard alot of people talk about it... It too is filmed in Wilmington and uses alot of what DC did.... like they cast extra's from around the area ecit.... But I dont' know much about it... However, I love One Tree Hill, and of course CMM!!!! They had similar first season finales, but that's about it. TV Guide summed up the difference between the two shows pretty nicely last year when a critic noted that OTH takes itself too seriously. The O.C., much like Dawson's Creek, knows it's a TV show and pokes fun at itself constantly. They did an episode last season where they met the stars of the fake TV show "The Valley." The character Ryan saw one of the actors from The Valley and said, "How does that guy play high school?" which is great considering Ben McKenzie is around 25. OTH is a good show, but it's pretty dramatic and the writing can be lifeless at times. They keep the story moving well, but the actors are often wooden (not to say Mischa Barton isn't, because she is). So, in conclusion, OTH is a good show and for the most part, they keep things really interesting, but it's pretty much a straight-forward drama. Don't expect to hear Pacey chime in with something witty. Watch it!  11/15/2004 6:58 AM    jen 661 posts Hmmm, while i Love drama, i love comedy more, however i will give OTH a chance.
