| I really need to think on this....but I would say that the episode That was Then...can provide alot of insight.
Doug was obviously perturbed that he lost the spotlight to Pacey who now was a success and had money. Doug was a real jackass to Pacey much of the episode because he had been demoted in his dad's eyes. I think Doug actually liked having the upper hand in his relationship with Pacey.
I would say the Sheriff Witter's love was very conditional. |
