i didnt like her so much...
she was neurotic, indecisive and i didnt think she deserved to get either of the two boys ion the triangle.
i only put up with her because when i first watched DC, i was a dawson fan, and then when i started rewatching i became a pacey fan. both of them seemed to love her so i gave her a chance.
heart and soul with dawson?
if that were true, she'd be with him. her heart was with pacey (granted dawson had that little piece of her heart being her first love) and her soul was entirely her own. she was too scared fof commitment to give her soul away.
i started this topic because through the series i noticed one thing after watching the d/j argument in season 2 where joey said " out with the old, in with the new, huh?"
i noticed that whenever dawson got a new girl he ignored joey. i mean, even in season 5 he was distant because he was with jen, and he barely knew anything about her life...
that was the point i was trying to make. that's why i believe that d/j werent as 'in love' as i once thought. i'm not doubting whether they loved each other, but it ws first love. and that's not strong enough to build a relationship on, even if it didnt fade away completely for dawson and joey. |

I agree Chuck. I think Audrey was talking about herself too. But there are reactions by Joey and Pacey to what she is saying. If you ever get a chance to see the episode again, you should watch Joey's face. |
