| Is there evidence that Joey loved Pacey after season 4? |

| I know alot of us like to read between the lines alot when trying to decipher P/J and D/J in seasons 5 and 6. But I am trying to figure out if it is wishful thinking or is there any evidence in the show after season 4 that would make it logical that Joey would choose Pacey in the end? That she still loved him? |

Is there any logical evidence that Pacey loved Joey in seasons 5 and 6??? I mean really?????

| Man I could go on for hours with this topic!!!, basically though I think yes there is eveidence to suggest Pacey loved Joey in S5 & S6 he sailed away at the end of 4 to distance himself from her to try to get over his feelings for one, but there is more but I'll be here forever!!!! |

| We all read between the lines every day of our lives and not just about TV shows. Even with all the reading between the lines we get confirmation in season 6 when they get together for oh so short a time, but it still is enough to show us that the embers were burning underneath.
I agree with Half Pint. I could go on and on reading between the lines and interpreting scenes to indicate the underlying feelings still existing between the two but let's just look at a couple.
The obvious one..........Season 5. Joey THINKS she's into Dawson again. She sees Pacey at Civilization and her world turns upside down. All of the sudden even when Dawson blames her for his Dad's death she takes it amazingly well when he dumps her............why? Because Pacey's back in Boston and she felt good that she didn't have to be the one to take care of him anymore????? Sounds like something you tell to the guy that you're interested in when you want him to think you're not interested in that other guy and your options are open.
Second...........season 6. Drunk Joey is honest Joey baring her feelings at Pacey's party the night his TV is trashed.
Third..........the night Pacey tells Dawson he lost his money. Who does Joey go to comfort? The one she loves.
Pacey taught Joey to feel. She was at best cool and indifferent as a human being before Pacey. He not only awoke the caring and loving part of her, but he silenced the usually selfish part of her. Virtually any time you see Joey as a good, and caring person, you see Pacey around. Of course she loved him. It's a no brainer. |

| When she filled in as Pacey's assistant and they jumped each other, and there is that whole K-Mart, fulfilling a dream thing.
Jen could see it when visiting him on the boat.
It wasn't played up, like white noise in the background, it was always there.
