| Well I am to please Jimidb...and like always you seem determined not to admit or see the truth. To begin with that passage was specifically written by someone who pleaded with KW that they knew exactly what Joey should say because she knew the Pacey/Joey relationship so well. KW didn't want to give the ending away and he didn't know what to say so it let the other person right it.
Next, no evidence of Dawson letting Joey off the hook....two words..."True Love".
Now, running from love, well let's see...there was the time Joey broke it off with Dawson the first time because she was in love with him and it scared her (S2), then again when Dawson saved her father's life and she turned in her father for dealing, she broke it off again, even though she was still in love...running again. Then there is S6 when she and Dawson get together and she finds a reason to run again.... Now I dare any P/Jer to name one instance in which Joey ran from Pacey... |

Season 6 - Love Bites. At the dance. She tells Pacey she doesn't feel it. Which is a load of crap, because if Eddie hadn't come into Hell's Kitchen that night, she would have slept with Pacey. She could have told Pacey that she loved Eddie, that she wanted to be in a relationship with Eddie any other choice of words. But "I don't feel it". That was a flat out lie, and Pacey knew it. But he chose to let her "run" instead of calling her on it.
There is one thing that has always been undeniable about P/J and that is their chemistry. Joey is attracted to him. She gave him a drunken kiss at his party, she was kissing him in a Kmart, she made out with him in his office, she was ready to sleep with him later that night at Hell's Kitchen. She definitely "felt it" with Pacey. So there...she ran from him at that dance. |

| Undeniably Slyn, undeniably. And in the speech she was admitting that in her heart she'd be running from him since he hurt her in Promicide. I don't think there's any doubt in that. |

Honestly, I don't know how I could say such a thing. Without throwing up. Because it makes me think about it again.
Even the supposed sexual tension between D/J before they even performed the hole-through-sheet nookie didn't exist at all. To me, the way they looked at each other? The so-called "passion" in their eyes actually translated into "constipated".[/quote:6f68005412]
Oh how in the world did I miss this comment Dollface..Classic!!! |

| [quote:ff0f205b6c="Icon36"]This is a toughie, I have two.. both from S6. First, episode 2...Dawson finally gets with Joey and has a shot at the grand relationshp he has been dreaming about for 4 years and he just lets her push him away...he hardly puts up a fight at all...this was just pathetic writing.
the other scene is in the series finale Joey and Pacey in the Kitchen after Jen's funeral...the speech she gives actually applies more to Dawson then Pacey.[/quote:ff0f205b6c]
My jaw literally dropped when I read this(Welcome back Icon36)
Jimi and Slyn have taken care of the facts very nicely....
Crisis averted..Moving along to the next one :o |
