| Has anyone else noticed?..... |

| I was supposed to be writing a unit plan last night, but instead was watching "Alternative Lifestyles" and was just wondering whether anyone else has noticed at the end of that episode where Ms Jacobs comes back, how much Ms Jacobs just looks like an older version of Andie. I wonder whether that was the intention???
And why did Pacey end up with Joey, when his other girlfriends were all perky blondes, Ms Jacobs, Andie, Audrey... So why did he end up with the surly brunette????

| You know I've never thought about it, but I can see where you got that Ms Jacobs being an older Andie thing.
She really looks like her a few decades later: very smart, a little more calm but not without a certain perkiness.
But I think Pacey found something in Joey he could relate to, something he had liked all along and something comfortable since they've known eachother for so long. Something he couldn't quite understand, but just felt like home to him.
You see, Andie and Audrey were both cheerful and optimistic characters, regardless of what problems they had, or at least that was usually the case. Joey on the other hand was always being sarcastic and witty, just like Pacey used to be. I bet he found a rightful opponent in her quick witt.
I guess it was all those things which made her different from other girls that made her atractive to him.
I'm not sure how I ended up backing up PJ on this one, but I'm not surprised they ended up together either. |
