| True, but the Dawson's Creek season one finale wasn't about a triangle. It was just Dawson and Joey. So Dawson just combined seasons one, two, and three of his life for his show's first season.
God, I hope season two isn't about Colby making a movie about his life. Talk about life imitating art imitating art imitating art in that one. |

| To jump in on this bad boy thing..
I didn't really see Pacey as a bad boy either. I think Matt Caufield was a better example of that. Drue Valentine was worse than Pacey as well. (Oh how I wish they had explored that character more) But I guess Pacey had a certain irreverence that could be construed as bad by the citizens of Capeside.
Pacey was liked by the ladies because he had a knight in shining armor thing going on. He seemed courageous and strong. And once you got to know him you saw how vulnerable he truly was. Women like men with heart. Pacey had a huge one.
Personally, I like bad boys. Bad boys can lead to pain though. And pain gets old really fast. So I am with Sug, reformed bad boys all the way. I like to know that I am with a guy that won't run in the face of danger. I am pretty sure Dawson would have trampled Joey during his hasty retreat. |

| DD... that was GOOD :)
That last part about him trampling her.... EXACTLY what I mean... or think, if I never said anything along those lines...
Just reading what you said about pacey... you nailed it girl, you always do... his big heart, knight and shinning armor complex, vulnerable underneath... |

| [quote:678a690a04="slyn11"]Just thinking about how season 3 made us choose sides. P/Jers and D/Jer were born. But what if Joey had chose Dawon? What would have changed on the show? How would the characters have ended up? How would the concept of soulmates and true love have changed? How would you have changed as a fan?[/quote:678a690a04]Well, my view has always been that Joey did choose Dawson, even though she wanted to go with Pacey...she decided to stay with Dawson. Dawson tells Joey to go be with Pacey. If they did not happen I believe that Dawson and Joey would've probably lost their virginity to each other that summer. Joey would've gotten pregnant, had the baby and worked double shifts at the BB and yacht club for the next 20 years while Dawson worked at the video store...but honestly I think that when Pacey comes back from his trip the unresolved feelings between him and Joey might lead to Joey cheating on Dawson with Pacey, but that illicit affair would not give Pacey the time to study so he would have not graduated from high school leaving him in Capeside with Joey who can't afford worthington because Dawson finds out about the affair and is in no mood to pay for Joey's college. So Joey ends up getting pregnant from Pacey and working doubles at the B&B and Yacht Club while Pacey ends up working for Dougie at the Sheriffs department:) |
