I think it grew more into a Mother/Daughter situation then Grandma/Grandaughter...... I enjoyed Grams, she always seemed to keep Jen grounded and for that Jen ended up being a better person in the end.  7/12/2007 10:37 PM    Halfpint 432 posts I think at first Jen rejected Grams' care & affection, she rebelled a lot & at times deliberately did things she knew Grams would hate her doing. After a while though a firm bond developed which as cinn says was more like mother & daughter than granddaughter & grandmother. Grams persistance in not giving up on Jen ultimately made her a calmer person & helped her realise her self worth dispite her troubled past. Basically it was a great relationship, strong to the end.  7/13/2007 10:43 AM    jimidb 3569 posts I think this basically goes without saying. They definitely grew closer and loved one another much more.
