Actually, thats what fanfic is all about (good job fanfic writers). This will about specific pivotal situations during the run on the show...pondering what if. So with that intro I have the first what if scenario; what if when Dawson goes to Mr. Potter and asks him to turn himself in, Mr. Potter did just that. Do you think Dawson and Joey break-up and probably more important, do you think Joey and Pacey ever get together??  3/7/2005 6:36 AM    mrsfallon 641 posts I think they would have broken up bc all tv relationships last like 2 seasons. Pacey and Joey would have gotten 2gether-they better have!! If they hadn't broken up, Pacey wouldn't have taken that sailing job. If he doesn't take the sailing job, he stays in Capeside with Joey. If he stays in Capeside with Joey, Joey doesn't feel the lonliness she feels with Pacey gone and Dawson leaving. If she doesn't feel that, she doesn't ask Dawson to stay. If she doesn't want Dawson to stay, she doesn't go back over there. I mean it was Dawson's last night at home you can't tell me that wouldn't be together....I know that she would have wanted to be with him ... and i'm sure she would have asked him to stay ... because she still wouldnt' have wanted her best friend to leave .....
