| I think Katie was the good soldier. She worked hard. She did everything asked of her. She was in every episode. She did all the promotions and appearances the studio asked her to. She was a good girl who trusted the studio when the gave her the "standard rich and famous contract." Unfortunately the Studio's planning horizon does not go much beyond this season and they chew up and spit out scores of fresh faced starlets/teen idols every year. Now she is doing the same thing with Cruz. Doing what he says. I hope his planning horizon is at least a little longer.
Michelle, like Heath, refused to trust her future to others and, mistakes and all, she and Heath have been making their own way toward a career that will satisfy them.
