Hollywood heart-throb Heath Ledger and his heavily-pregnant fiancé Michelle Williams stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of his new film The Brothers Grimm on Monday, with the Dawson’s Creek star sporting a massive diamond engagement ring.
It was the first time the Bronte-based couple have acknowledged their upcoming nuptials, though no one has revealed their wedding date. But in a tradition most recently shown by tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt and Bec Cartwright, Williams’ six-months-on bulging tummy reveals Ledger will soon be a proud father, Sydney’s The Daily Telegraph reported.
The couple, who are undertaking major renovations to their beachside apartment, have been reading baby books together while she attends pre-natal yoga classes, the tabloid said. Williams reportedly plans to have the baby in Los Angeles in November.
Ledger has reportedly refused to acknowledge Williams was pregnant with his child until last night’s red carpet affair at the Directors Guild of America theatre, where he and co-star Matt Damon were the star attractions.
The Brothers Grimm opens nationally on November 10.
