Couple of cute stories. Nice to hear Michelle will be making more movies. Maybe we will see here in another good one, in a lead role, soon.
Matilda has Jake Gyllenhaal for a God-father and Busy Philipps for a God-mother, in addition to two very attractive Academy award nominated parents. Think she has a future in the business?

Heath Ledger says, "I'll be Mr. Mom"
After the Academy Awards in March, Heath Ledger will be a stay-at-home dad to his 4 month old daughter Matilda for the rest of 2006 so his fiance Michelle Williams can work her Oscar nomination mojo.
Heath said, "I'm going to try not to work at all this year and send Michelle out to bring in the cash. I'll be Mr. Mom. It's something that's very important to me - something that every dad, if he can, should do his best to achieve."
He also said, "My life right now is, I wouldn't say reduced to food, but my duties in life are that I wake up, cook breakfast, clean the dishes, prepare lunch, clean those dishes, go to the market, get fresh produce, cook dinner, clean those dishes and then sleep if I can. And I love it. I actually adore it."

Heath Ledger Chooses Jake Gyllenhaal as Daughter's Godfather
Heath Ledger has asked 'Brokeback Mountain' co-star Jake Gyllenhaal to be his baby's godfather. The actors got so close while shooting the gay cowboy drama, Heath decided he wanted Jake to be involved in his daughter's life. The 'Donnie Darko' star admits he was thrilled to be asked to help raise little Matilda, Heath's daughter with partner Michelle Williams.
Jake told Daily Mirror newspaper: "Heath and I are best friends now, making the film was very intense for us. I'm actually godfather to Heath's daughter Matilda which is an amazing honor."
Heath recently revealed he loves his new role as a dad - even though all he does now is cook and wash up. The Hollywood hunk says he's happily settled into domestic life since Michelle gave birth last October.
He said at the time: "My life right now is, I wouldn't say reduced to food, but my duties in life are that I wake up, cook breakfast, clean the dishes, prepare lunch, clean those dishes, go to the market, get fresh produce, cook dinner, clean those dishes and then sleep if I can.
"And I love it. I actually adore it."

| I wasn't impressed with Heath when I first saw them together (although I did think he was good in "The Patriot" and "A Knight's Tale"). Seemed like he never met a female costar he didn't like, but the more I learn about him, the more I like him. I just hope Michelle will teach him how to dress himself.

Totally agree... when i first saw them together I wasn't quite so sure. Especially when I found out she was pregnant. But seeing/reading interviews, he seems like a great guy and that they truely love eachother.
I hope that Michelle cleans him up too!!! :D |
